11 Herbs and Spices Twitter Explosion

KFC was following thousands of people on Twitter, which seemed like a lot. We unfollowed all of them, and refollowed five Spice Girls and six random guys named Herb. Like KFC’s 11 Herbs & Spices. We didn’t seed it anywhere or put any media behind it. We just waited. Finally, this guy’s tweet popped up. This thing went on to be on the front page of Reddit twice, spawn conspiracy theories, helped us win Twitter’s Best Brand Voice of the Year, and…you should just watch the Cannes case study video below, because somehow this tiny free thing won multiple awards at Cannes and I’m rambling.
